ONE GOOD DAY TO BE (DRESSED AS) THAI 

AS AUTHENTICALLY UNIQUE AS YOU AREWhen I tell people I was visiting Bangkok, they usually think of a tuk-tuk ride, a tasty street food, humid weather, a tour to wonderful – breathtaking attractions and Yes, they’re not wrong, I did do all of that.  What seems to be missed out on by my friends though, is the fact that I was not only enjoying my experiences in Thailand but I also dressed as one while doing it. Traditional Thai-style clothing is pretty a big deal even for Thai people. It is being preserved for a really special occasion. So imagine being able to wear it, while you go exploring Bangkok – the heart and soul of Thailand? And believe me, the experience is as amazing as it sounds

TRADITIONAL – BUT ONE OF A KIND 

Dressing in a national traditional garment does not have to be boring! You can be creative creating your own colors, styles, and comforts. I know it sounds complicated and official to wear these delicate clothing items but it was not always the case.There are a bunch of styles, fabrics, and accessories to choose from – whatever that works for you! These dresses are also served the look and if you are planning to visit those beautifully famous shrines and temples – wearing traditional Thai garments really gets you into the scent of history and delicacy Thai people have always been known for. The meticulousness you visually see from the architecture is also there on these clothes and fabrics you are wearing. It was a wholesome experience to be very connected to the story of the places you are visiting and the dresses you wore.

PICTURE PERFECT

Part of a journey is the end but these days, we can easily collect those memories in pictures and photos.  Enjoying the experiences with your own eyes is exceptional. My trip was amazing though the weather was not so kind and it rained a bit – still, everything was worthwhile. I got to have a small photoshoot session to myself wearing an exceptional costume and having a time of my life. Having those memories captured, professionally, was just very great. I know we can take selfies and doing our own photography but having a professional photographer do it for us – came an amazing result. No more selfies-sticks! I could walk around freely and focus on enjoying my trip without the need to worry about missing a photograph.  A wonderful experience can be frozen still and ready for me to revisit anytime.
